Tanja Laden Day of the Dead

Another interesting person I met at my pals’ Andy Warhol-themed salon this Monday is Tanja Laden. Tanja Laden is mostly an insightful writer and editor. Tanja Laden has been published all over the place and is currently Deputy Editor at happenings-oriented website Flavorpill Los Angeles. She also apparently takes the occasional picture and I heartily recommend checking out her photo gallery, especially for the depictions of interesting Day of the Dead celebrations.

I think more cultures should have holidays like Day of the Dead. Obviously, as time passes, we all lose more people we miss, which can weigh on the soul, so I like the idea of a festive day to remember the personalities of absent companions. Don’t you?
