Tim Burton at LACMA

One of the things I love about Los Angeles is that people take weirdo art seriously here. Tim Burton has a major exhibit running all summer at LACMA, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art. I don’t always feel good about some of the themes in his movie work, but I always adore his aesthetic and I love living in a city where this aesthetic can be celebrated at this level.
