Wear sunscreen whenever you NEED to go outside but of course limit sun exposure. Wear long sleeves even if it is blistering hot, and you should be okay. Also a big floppy straw hat wouldn't hurt. (Lydia)

I just remembered: I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub, it removes dead skin well and will help remove dead skin, so your paler skin can come through.
