What do you think about the word rape?

There are a few words which are automatically censored if used on these boards. Mostly pig ignorant racial slurs and ridiculous spammers. I know some people are really bothered by the term ****. I kind of think it is no big deal used in jest. It is not exactly punk rock to flip out about a word like that. I think we are capable of being mature and supportive if someone has a horrible thing happen to them without giving that word more meaning and power than it should have. On the other hand, I do not want people looking for **** porno in search engines to come on over and behave inappropriately. I decided to put the question to the members. What do you all think?

I don't find any problem with the word ****... it actually rather attractive

Well... It all depends on context ya know... if someone you are all turned on to is all flirtin' like... if you keep lookin' that hot may have to **** ya... is hot...

If it's some horrible person that wants to violate someone.. it's horrible.. I don't think anyone on here would use it in a bad way, if so just ban them from bluebloodland...

That word took on new meaning for me after a person quite close to me was *****...now when I hear it or see it I think about it. I don't lash out at the person using it though...but I does make me remember the bastard that commited the crime...not a fun feeling but I'm learning to deal with it.

In terms of it used on the forum...meh...everyone has a pretty visible dark side here so deal with it or move on I say...if you're easily offended by a word then you're in the wrong place.

I think the word **** would take on an entirely different meaning to you , if you were indeed *****. I am not thin-skinned , people can say whatever they want. This society is mirroring insects in a colony with not much emotion, just as drone's therefore anything is acceptable.

I'm not sure. i've always had my "****" fantasies, but thenyou can't **** the willing. ****, like hate, is a strong word and alot strong words have lost their "oomph" and meaning because people try so very hard to say strong things that they use words out of context. To me, the word itself is not offensive, the context, however, can be. In the cases that I've witnessed here, on BB, I've yet to see an offensive use of the word. Mostly, here, it's in jest. I wouldn't worry about it untill someone posts how they ***** some poor innocent.

Every time I think of the word...... I think of this sorority on campus here...... Delta Gamma, they have a national policy that if one of them has any blood alcohol level or as does the guy having sex with them, they'll scream **** even if she consented. Lot of guys here have gotten into trouble over it, but then these are frat guys I'm talking about.

and I don't mind the word......... but the action is deplorable......... I'd almost wish this was Egypt where they cut your dick off with a sword in a public square for doing that........
