Has anybody seen this show? I'm not sure if it ever aired outside of Canada. It was made in Toronto several years ago, they did a couple of seasons at least. The storyline ranged from intriguing to atrocious and everywhere in between; the acting was on the whole, excellent. The main character drove this great big honking aquamarine-coloured Cadillac.
Yes, they had it on in the states. I saw previews for it on cable. I never watched it thought but I can confirm it was aired at least in the Southeastern Michigan area.
It aired in Florida. It was a great six season show. I know a guy, former porn star, who claims to be a recurring guest charater from the show. Full-o-Shit he is. I think that's the only down side to the whole show.

It was an interesting show. I liked it. I thought it was neither bad, nor good. Nice tragic ending to the whole thing. The radio announcer guy struck me as pretentious, but if you're a vampire, who has been around for a long time, I'd imagine you'd be full of a lot of your own gas. It was cool to see people who were more like actors and not a bunch of supermodels running around pretending they actually know what they're doing. I like that whole vampire-detective thing, it seems like Angel borrowed a lot from that show.
I remember it...it ran in the states for quite a while. Sci-Fi channel shows it ever so often. I was never a huge fan but it was better than most of the shows from it's run.
In Chicago it was on CBS, and then it got picked up by the Sci Fi channel..... considering that I still play Vampire: The Masquerade I enjoy the show and watch it whenever I can.
I think I remember it, it was a few years back wasn't it, there has been so many great shows....*sigh*

I LOVED that show. Just re-watched the First Season [On DVD]. And yes, Angel got ALOT from that show. Caddy, Leather Jacket, Redemption. That show also gets to really be the first TV show I really saw that had a "Goth Club" and I think was resposible for my starting my romance with Gothness.

hmmm, i still like 'dark shadows' better...
...but deffinitly better than average... considering the alternatives were st.buffy, and 'baywatch nights' (did that really become a vampire show... was i high WTF? :1orglaugh )

the last episode really made it the last episode but by then i was into highlander so i wasn't going to head for a bridge to jump off
oh man, i used to watch highlander just for the backgrounds...

Omg, I'm absolutely WILD about Forever Knight. I'd literally be in tears if I missed it when it was running. Sadly I've yet to get the box set DVDs, money issues and the fact the previews/reviews I've seen, they really mangled it. :\ I'll get it either way eventually.
But anywho; it was such a beautiful show, very well thought out/put together and the stories were absolutely wonderful; as well as the choices for roles. Oi. Even LeCroix could make me weak in the knees and drown in my own sea of lust. <33333
So, so, so glad to find people who remember Forever Knight in all it's glory. :D
