Re: what did you eat/cook/order for dinner?
I ended up eating the pork chops for lunch; I just couldn't resist. they were yummy. I'm about to make a couple big huge glasses of carrot/spinach/bell pepper/celery/broccoli juice. it might sound gross, but its actually pretty tasty. I do my fruits in the morning.

Re: what did you eat/cook/order for dinner?
Yeah, that does sound a little gross but i bet if you added a litle pineapple into the mix it would taste delicious:)
-
Re: what did you eat/cook/order for dinner?

It's cool. It's the internet after all... :)
Funny thing is that we were out of normal rice when we was making dolmas so we used rice for sushi instead. Well, first day we didn't noticed anything special about it but next day as we warmed them they stayed hard as sushi :) They easily fall apart when using normal rice but like this it felt like I was eating Serbian sort of sushi :) An experiment that turned out cool.
Ok, I wont be so "selfish" as you are and I'll share the recipe for perfect dolmas. lol :rolling_e

I just drink it straight actually. the thing about juicing is that you have to chug it fast after you make it, or you don't get as many vitamins. I'm looking at getting a expensive brand new juicer soon. I just wanted to be sure it was something I was going to stick with before I spent that kind of money.... but I have been thrilled with the results of doing it everyday for just 3 weeks.
anyway, back to the topic at hand: tonight's dinner consisted of four pint glasses of juice: two veggie and two fruit. the veggie ones consited of: four carrots, six stalks of celery, an entire head of broccoli, one cucumber, one bunch of spinach, half a red bell, and a lemmon..... made two and a half glasses that I chugged with a quickness. the fruit ones had an entire cantaloupe, a pint of strawberries, half pint of blueberries, and a half pint of raspberries. it made just over two pint glasses, and was chugged down fast....... good god, I am really full now. juice is very filling. I might make a little pasta later, but I probably won't need to.

Im trying not to eat out too much.
Being on 20, makes me want to eat healthier from now on, and i get shit fro my family because im skinny and they are all big.
In turn they want to try and fatten me up, and my metabolism is fucking ridiuclous.
I like green beans and bacons, my friend from Poland makes it a certain way that everything is really crunchy and not oily at all.
Whole grain spaghetti and ground turkey mmm bitch hahah.

Re: what did you eat/cook/order for dinner?
lol i do! i love to cook, i used to do it for a living at this little italian soulfood restaraunt we have out here. um...well, we had the coconut lime chicken over ramen for lunch which was pretty filling and the gren chile scrambled egg sandwiches with rapserry preserves for breakfast soooooooo
tonight i think i will be making a nice big salad with roasted deli turkey slices, may go with the italian style or the mesquite havent decided yet. definately some crumbled sharp cheddar and sliced red grapes to top with fresh spinach, italian dressing or vidalia onion dressing, some slivered almonds and fresh onions and pepper.
and serve with peeled grapefruit
sigh wish we had some alfalfa sprouts to go with ti those would be perfect
we've had some pretty full meals all day so kinda wanna go light but filling for dinner.
my mom aint complaining though. she was saying the other day she doesnt think she's eaten this good in a long time which is kind of a compliment lol thanx for ressurecting this topic, volty!

Re: what did you eat/cook/order for dinner?
Mortadela sandwich and boiled eggs with mayo in a freshly made baguette of mine.
I always forget to name the salad but I include it almost every time. At lunch half amount of the dish is salad actually. It was just plain tomatoes with olive oil, drop of vinegar, and piece of feta cheese for the taste.

Re: what did you eat/cook/order for dinner?
Wow... I wish you could all try this baguette :)
Trick is to make a little bit more wet mixture of wheat and all stuff and NOT add sugar so it doesn't grow so rapidly and leave it over the night in the fridge. Next day just ad a teaspoon of sugar, turn it over your hands like 5-6 times. Carefully so you don't kill all the bubbles in it. And form it into baguettes.

Re: what did you eat/cook/order for dinner?
Last night I made some root veggies. Better than it sounds trust me. I took some potatos, beets, onions, carrots, turnips and garlic. Just chopped up and added them to a glass baking dish with salt (lots), pepper, dill and olive oil. Bake for an hour & a quarter @ 375. Really good. It made the house smell good too.
