I generally dislike potatoe chips, but I like Sour Cream & Onion types.
I hate that feeling with sea salt & vinegar chips, it's awful. It makes your mouth all raw inside, yikes. I do like them once in a while, when I want some torture ;) . I like plain potato chips with dip the best.
Poore Brother's Salt and Vinegar chips rock........ I also like jalapeno Krunchers
im more of a totilla chip guy myself but as far as potato chips go i like Mrs Vickies Jalapeno potato chips
Plain Lays are pure heaven. No dip, no nasty powdery additive laden flavourings. Just deep fried potato and salt. YUM!

Old Fashioned Kettle-Cooked Cape Cod is my preferred brand of torture.
For tortilla...I gotta have the Tostitos Gold....They are thick and dont break when you dip them...And they have a really good flavour..
Munchos....Fungyuns....
Doritoes Guacamole(sp) Are the shit...
Other than that..I like to make my own...Buy some good potatoes...Soke them in HOT Water for a little while...Clean them very very good..
Then it takes a steady hand and a lil practice..Or a potatoe chip slicer (CHEATING) and cut them into Very thin slices...Cook them in HOT Vegie oil...
They are better than any store bought chip...
According to their website (www.charleschips.com) they're from Century City, CA. I've never had them but I've heard of them. I believe they still sell them at Cracker Barrel restaurants. As for my favorite chip, I like salt and vinegar.Quote:

All time favorite was when Ruffles used to make Bacon and Sour Cream flavored. Otherwise I get "Zapps".
Stateline makes some good potato chips..if you can find them...

I love Poore Brothers Jalapeno Chips...The spicier the chips, the better! Salt and vinegar chips always killed the first layer of my lips---I would have instant peeling big time :eek:
Those salt and vinegar chips are just like cocaine. Your tongue/nose hurts, but you just find yourself having one more and one more and one more even though you are starting to bleed.
I LOVE RANCH CHIPS. so sue me. Ranch is the best thing on earth you could put on chips. MMMM the ranchey goodness :thumb:
