And you thought that you had to pay a lot for smokes!

A man in the United States popped out to his local petrol station to buy a pack of cigarettes - only to find his card charged $23,148,855,308,184,500.
That is $23 quadrillion (£14 quadrillion) - many times the US national debt.
"I thought somebody had bought Europe with my credit card," said Josh Muszynski, from New Hampshire.

He says he then spent two hours on the phone with the Bank of America.
That's the problem right there. It's Bank of America! I don't know anyone who hasn't had some weird ass fuck-up caused by that bank.
Re: And you thought that you had to pay a lot for smokes!
the part that really bums me out is that 23 quadrillion dollars is only worth 14 quadrillion euros. The US economy is fucked.
Re: And you thought that you had to pay a lot for smokes!
Could be worse. That's still more than 50% value, so we're not totally fucked. It's not like it's only worth 14 quadrillion pasos. Then we'd be really, truly fucked.
Re: And you thought that you had to pay a lot for smokes!

Those are pounds, the euro's somewhere inbetween.
Funny thing is that both the pound and the euro have really suffered also; it's just your dollar that makes them look good by comparison.
