I have a headache so big . . .

. . . that it feels like my brain is pulsing against the backs of my eyeballs and inside my skull. I suppose it technically is pulsing, but I mean in a bad way, not a heartbeat way. Anyone else get bad headaches?

I am photo-sensitive (glare kills me). I get migraines that require hard core d or v to resolve. Sorry your brain wants to escape, I do know the feeling.

In 2002 I had a horrid, excruciating migraine that lasted 5 days. I couldn't move, eat, or turn my head. I hated the light, and just laid there in pitch black. I couldn't even get up and go to the bathroom, it hurt so bad. It felt like someone was beating my head with a baseball bat. The pressure was so great in my head I thought my eyeballs were going to pop out. I was on Vicadin and it didn't even work. Finally my mom, who was visiting, got me some Imitrex and it went away after a couple of days.

when v doesn't work, and if you have insurance, go to the doc, get admitted and get a demerol drip, then rest away.

I get horrible migraines in which I loss my vision for a couple of minutes. I've actually screemed out loud while I was on the train from the pain :crazy3:. Are you taking anything?... because those types of headaches can make you do some pretty crazzy shit .

I get headaches so bad I want to do the Murder Act on everybody. Right now it's my back that hurts, though.

I suffered from severe Migraine's for over 2 years, no doctor or specialist could really pinpoint why I had them. No medication that they ever gave me would help. I had some that would last weeks, my first major one lasted 13 days. I just thought I had a major flu or something. Then I was told what they really were. I would get Morphine at the hospital but after a while, it started making me sick, so I really don't like it. It's really a terrible thing to suffer from. Even just headaches that hurt your entire skull or temples are awful, I have a headache now, woke up with it.

my neck was straight. it's suposed to be curved. it made my head hurt so bad i would sleep or try to sleep all day. chropractor fix me up.now they're comeing back and i need to go back,but there's no money for that right now so it's pain meds.

I've been subject to the worst headaches of history. The used to have to wheel me out of the high school bathroom with a towel over my head. I used to get them just from going up or down stairs. Feels alittle bit like a small nuclear explosion in my head while a band of evil midgits plays a thousand timpanis and a gong. After several trips to Drs and Chiropractors I found a cure:
1 tylenol (or acetometephin)
1 advil (or ibuprophen)
8 oz. organic white willow bark and dandlion tea
1 blind fold
2 hr nap.
Cures it every time. The blind fold is just as much to keep the brain in as to keep the light out. Even after my dad installed black out shades in my room (such a darling man). I would still put on the blind fold. I remember dad installed the shades because my headaches were so bad for a while there that I couldn't breathe, just moan. He thought it might help if it was darker in my room. THere are several days of my past that are blank because the pain destroyed all memory cells for those dates in history. Eurgh! Thinking about the damned things hurts!
