I need opinions on something

I am holding a Multi challenge contest up here in Wasilla, AK, USA. It is suppose to mix strength, stamina, aim, skill, and form. I need several activitys that involve swords. So far I have,

Bottle Smash - multi round challenge to break as many bottles as you can in one attack.
Lovely Duel - A 1 v 1 event where you earn points for style and technique.
Ark Challenge - Break all the targets and make it through as many gates as possible in the shortest time!

Thats all I have so far. Sugestions please!

U should have a highlander event, there can be only one lol

get some ice hockey pads n helmets, simulated weapons, or big wooden sticks to everyone else lol, n have at it, easy, fun and can have lost of people doin it, just do it on points, body parts have different points, one who scores most in time allowed is winner, do it on a knock out style contest, loads of fun had by all
one of the martial arts guys might beable to help me out, think its called kendo? that kind of thing, im likein the 3 events u ve already made

Maybe you could try an accuracy test, each person is put through a test where they have targets appear at random and they have to hit them accurately. The person with the best "thrusting" technique would win.

You can do an accuracy test with a wooden pole and little dowels.

Set the pole up and tape the dowels on on the side/angle so they look like this // or =.

Then you can have them try to hit inbetween them. If you break the dowels you lose. I know some people do this in the SCA to build up shot accuracy.

surely price is no object here.

ok if you are truly multi-challenged, lazy and cheap how about this:
* everyone sits around in a circle.
* take turns guessing at each others' dysfunction or disability.
* an incorrect guess is rewarded by the quaffing of generic brand nail polish remover.
* correct guesses mean that you are required to spin a bottle and who-ever the bottle ends up pointing at picks it up and clouts the person on their immediate left.
* points are awarded for style and lack of stupidity.

when I tried this at home with other meaningful progressive folk the result was a nil all draw so if anyone has an idea for a tie-breaker feel free to reply. sport is always the winner here &, like the olympics, professional tennis players, beach volley-ballers and golfers are encouraged to waste everyone's time by appearing endlessly 'cos let's face it ...we really need to see a lot more of their overpaid disgusting antics which clearly uphold the ideals of sublime championship.

Price is a large object. We are getting most the equiptment second hand at its trying to fall apart
