Advertising Pisses Me off

Why in the world would someone decide to put advertisements on the t.v., Radio, what ever, and not even have that particular thing in the frickin region...

If I see one more Sonic Drive-Inn Commercial I will scream. I went to their site.. and there is not a Sonic within 200 mileso f me.. WTF?

Do advertisers even do any research? They are Fucking Morons.

i think companies advertise stuff like that in places that dont have them so the consumer can go " hey..i want that here..ill sign a petition and see if they can build one here"

They run their commercials here in Michigan as well. We have no Sonics the closest is in Ohio. I have had Sonic in Texas as a child, it's been around forever. We just got our first Del Taco not too long ago. Never had it yet, it's about an hour away.

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, wellsville is so small that we dont even get local channels out here unless you have cable and even then the localest channels you get come from fucking buffallo! we're like not even a twenty minute drive form the pa border for crying aloud.

i've found that muting the sound during ad breaks on TV robs them of a lot of their power. and one day, i will record several hours of audio from the TV onto my computer, to see if the volume does go up during ads, or not.
