My (ex, but very amiable) wife Melissa really enjoyed meeting you at SXSW, she called me as soon as the panel was dismissed! At first she was concerned clients might see her in the "porn room", but in the end she said it was the most interesting panel she attended AND a client DID see her and asked her out for dinner. Fucking thanks. You go and break all the ice with that G rap on "turning pink into green" and now some skeezy suit guy is trying to get the mother of my child to coat his hangdown with tha stanky. WHY DON'T YOU JUST FUCKING PIMP HER OUT NEXT TIME?? Twenty percent is what I always charged...uh, wait...no no, scratch that...twenty percent is what I let her keep

Next year I will have to make more of an effort to venture out there, if for no other reason than to have a few alcoholic beverages with Amelia and Forrest.

Bah, ha, ha. You should have seen the stunned look on my face when she introduced herself. It felt so out of context, even though, you working in tech and all, it wasn't really, and the amiable part threw me off a little. She's great though. I should do like a Blue Blood party suite or something next year. You and Forrest are around the same size, as I recall, aren't you?

I enjoyed both his videos. The second I relate to greatly, but I sorta feel like maybe I'm making a bit more of a forward-moving career for myself lately, one that doesn't just rely on promotions and payscale. But I've often been in the situation where I see people playing a game I don't know anything about, and wondering if I'm just out of their league and missing the boat. It's hard to make your own life and accept it as good when you aren't really interested in the "success" benchmarks of your peers.
