Star Wars was a late primary school thing for me. I was a kid; I liked RotJ as well as tESB, even - especially - the ewoks, and I collected and actually played with the action figures as my friends and I pretended to have jedi powers. I think I watched the latter movies in this mindset, as I never found Jar Jar that objectionable. Taking any part of Star Wars seriously just seems weird to me.
