oic. nice series. i actually switched onto ai just now and just missed his performance but he is very pretty.

the whole scandal thing is nuts though. I mean, it's like when antonella barbara posed for her boyfriend and then a few years back there was a guy form phoenix who was a former stripper at dick's cabaret out here. it's nuts.

but yeah, i just missed his performance and got on when randy was saying it was like a country song done by nin

I don't think that a few kissing pictures are any kind of scandal whatsoever.

I do not think kissing someone in a picture at a party is the same thing as posing in a tacky way or stripping either.

oh i know. i see your point but the way that show is, they go apenuts over any little thing the contestants do.

they did it for that mormon boy who was really flamboyant cus he cussed on a youtube video,
tons of people got onto jordin sparks for being a plus size torrid model,

and im pretty sure if kelly clarkson had come out about going commando the entire first season when she was on it they would have had a field day with that too.

I dont get why the show can't just be about being a good singer personally.
let us know how he was though cus im dying to know if he was any good tonight cus he got mixed reviews.

okay........saw a clip of his performance. he did kind of a gothy rendition of ring of fire by johnny cash. it was interesting but i still think he's very pretty i might have to tune in this season just to watch him. purrrrrrr.

I'm a big Cash fan and I really enjoyed Lambert's rendition a lot. I thought it had the right level of heat. I expected something more Elvis country, but this was a version of the song I'd listen to again on purpose.

it was good from the snippet i heard. i wish i could have hear dit all the way through though. it was a nice change form what everyone else was doing on the show too cus all eveyrone else was doing was just clones of the song instead of making it their own which he did. I'm a fan.

I'll probably be tuning in this season now to see how far he makes it-hope he makes it all the way.

I feel like a lot of them failed to do Country. They gave the pink haired girl static for not being rough enough, but from a Country perspective, I thought she nailed the sentiment and message and sounded good too. Randy Travis thought so, but they were just kind of negative because she didn't sound like Pat Benatar or whatever.

they did. they really did. but that's why i dont normally watch idol unless i have a favorite. last time i watched it all the way through was when jordin sparks was on it.

I thought she was gonna win back when they were doing tom jones covers.

Right on about that "I'm fine with it personally, but think of what others will say!" crowd. It's bad enough that ideas seem to transfer by osmosis when we're not paying attention; but an outright admission that you can't refrain from judging while not everyone agrees with you no matter what you might personally find reasonable tips it from being merely weak to self-inflictedly pathetic.
