I've been a Depeche Mode fan for a few years now; I was seriously underwhelmed by Playing the Angel, and pleasantly surprised by the new video for Wrong.
Has anyone else seen it? If so, what did you think?
Personally, I don't expect the new album to be another Violator, but the hopless optimist in me has her fingers crossed anyway.

lol yes. atleast that's what kmfdm says it is lol the actual meaning behind the kmfdm is german for i think "sympathy for the masses" or something like that. i cant remember but they liked the unofficial title too cus they were trying to keep from soundign like groups like dpeche mode when they started out.
just heard wrong on the raido outhere. it's pretty good. kinda old nin-ish sounding to me.
As anyone here can easily guess, by my user name, Depeche Mode is my #1 favorite band. I love them. I don't really like the video Wrong. I like Anton Corbin DM videos much better. Anton Corbin didn't do this video Wrong. I like the song and all the songs on the new album called Sounds of the Universe except Corrupt. I would prefer more dance to the music in the new album. They are currently on a world tour. They were on tour in the USA this pass summer. I last saw them in concert, 8/4/09 at MSG NYC. Their USA tour is over for now. There are ongoing DJ events in NYC where the DJ plays all DM music all night. These events are at various NYC clubs.

yeah I saw the video awhile ago and i thought it was crazy. I liked the concept. I have the live version song clip up on my ******* which is also really cool. I don't think you can top Violator but Depeche Mode is still rockin!
Depeche Mode is #1 for me. I would say, Violator, Ultra, and Songs of Faith and Devotion are my favorites, I love 99 and three forth of everything they have done. 99 per cent and three forth of everything Martin L. Gore writes is #1. Martin L. Gore , in my opinion is the best song writer of the universe and in my opinion Depeche Mode is the best band of the universe. Let's keep this thread going.
