I am all for think out of the box set by the "moral public". There is more to this world, than what herd deems there to be. Marching to beat of your own drum. That to me was what America was founded on, those same idea. Independent and proud, we all should be more like that....

I think the lipstick and eyeliner, or the Hot Topic clothes, or the music, are just people's first baby steps. Once they start hanging out with other people in "the scene", they will realize there are other ways to live your life, other than the mainstream. Many people start out with these things as hobbies, or on the side. They dress up on weekends, or dabble in the music, or have a hidden tattoo or two. But the more they get involved in it, the more they will realize they don't have to live or think the way their peers do, or their parents. And the more people who accomplish this, will inspire others to do the same, and to live life by their own rules, not by the rules of the previous generations...
