Clear Channel's KIIS is possibly the worst radio station ever

These Clear Channel drones have been blasting music from the 7/11 across the street a down a ways from me all day. It is ridiculously loud and I even like a fair amount of pop and almost everything they are playing is absolute agony to listen to. When they speak, they have the microphone turned up so much louder than they should, that it is unutterably distorted and irritating. They apparently have no permit for this, but they have the blessing of the 7/11. I think I'll be walking to the 24 hour supermarket when I want quickie items for a while. I called the 7/11 and they said they had nothing to do with it and like two minutes later the Clear Channel guys were giving away 7/11 drinks.

I called the KIIS numbers, both business ones and the ones where they are supposedly doing contests and encouraging people to call to win horrible prizes and their contest lines just ring and ring and ring. No busy signal and nobody ever answers. So I guess their contests are fake.

Actually I was brought up in a house where I could never play my music louder than like three. I've lived in a number of punk rock group houses which used to get noise complaints, when we were being dead silent, because the neighbors did not like our friends' hairstyles.

I know I will get no slack or quarter given for playing what I want to hear such that it intrudes on others. I've known this since I got the soundtrack for Grease on vinyl when I was eleven. So I have minimal patience for other people intruding on me.

I always ask politely that someone turn it down before I call the police because I believe in the Golden Rule.

Also Clear Channel's KIIS plays REALLY bad music. And they were blasting their suckage in a residential area.

Dress up as some less well known subtype of cop and confiscate their equipment on account of their lack of permit. Then use it for permit-less ends of your own, such as street parties and warehouse raves, knowing that even if you end up losing it you never paid a dime.

Bonus points if you manage to lose it so quickly that when clearchannel contacts law enforcement about it, they actually find it in their storage.
