Default What are some of your favorite foreign/international artists?

I dont have a favorite band. That is because I like/love so many.

I dont know most of their names, but I had found some really cool Russian Music Artists.

Among those was a Musician called J-Power.

I dont really understand the song's words(Since it isnt in English.), but Beyond/Behind Clouds is my favorite song from him.

    The Music Video rocks also.

Many excellent bands hail from Sweden and Germany. At the Gates, Arch Enemy, Hypocrisy, Immortal, Therion, all came from Sweden. Germany has produced many legends such as Kreator, Destruction, and Sodom.

When I read about favourite international artist, I was like "Pre 1600: Hieronymous Bosch, Post 1600: Hans Rudi Giger", but then I saw you all posting about musicians, so I'm jumping on the train. My favourite non-german artists in a music kind of way are Merzbow and The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud. And Muslimgauze. Not to forget Burzum. No discussions about Varg Vikernes please, but the music was awesome.

There's a nifty band called Noir Desire who are French... or at least that's the language their songs are in. The lead singer's currently in prison for killing his girlfriend, so I don't know if maybe some of their stuff is out of print now. They change styles frequently, so half their songs are amazing and the other half stupid, but the half that are amazing are well worth it.

I like the Trio Bulgarka, who are probably best known for singing backup on a few songs on the Kate Bush album The Sensual World. I'm always intrigued by singers who use their voices like musical instruments.
