I guess that depends on whether you think things like teen sexuality, female sexuality, gothic culture, vampire legends, abstinence, marketing, and cultural conflict are simple or complex topics. For a simple take on it, just the first paragraph of what I wrote will do fine.

How so? I thought I did a pretty thorough pop culture analysis and Twilight is not an advertiser.

Edit: In the interest of full disclosure, I do note that Summit Entertainment did distribute the P2 movie which was an advertiser, but that was in like 2007 and in no way impacted my views or coverage of Twilight.

Oh Amelia, look where we got with this. (We as a society) Movies shouldn't be a occupation for our intellect. They should be a entertainment. I really wish I could watch movies as I did before, live it, believe it. Be away for an hour and a half. Now I can't help it not to notice every single aspect of filming it self, acting and camera and what not.

I assume that certain persons enjoy more watching the movie from the critic point of view. You might be like that as well, I don't know. But if we need movies to tell us what to think about world around us and to teach us common morale then we're fucked.

I watched the movie.
And i liked it.
But i also knew what ages this movies was suppose to appeal too.

I dont know why people freak out about movies without even watching it first.
Either way those people made bank, and you cant knock a person for getting their money.
