I have to confess that I am not a corset fetishist exactly, but I love corsets. I never cinch in so much I can't breathe and I've never slept in a corset on purpose. I often put my corset on after I get where I'm going, so the car ride over is easier. That said, corsets are one of my favorite accessories. A simple black bra and pull on skirt become dressed up instantly with the addition of a corset. Eat one éclair too many too close to an important event? No problem, just cinch in a little tighter. Corsets come in all sorts of great materials too. There are the silks and satins and brocades of high end lingerie as well as all sorts of leathers and latex and plastic. Although my favorites are the corsets which start around my hips and end under my bust, all sorts are available. There are full body corsets which hobble the wearer so much he or she is unable to walk. There are neck corsets and corsets with cups and corsets with attached skirts. The list goes on. Some constrain a lot; some constrain a little. Even though corset undergarments have been around for ages, the corset as a fetish, Gothic, or general clubwear apparel item is still evolving all the time.
