Joe Blasco: Black Creme

Ive got pretty long eyelashes, but I dont think Im alone in the fact that putting scary stuff right up close to my eyes causes me to twitch a little too much for my own narcissistic good. I never really have found a good enough eyeliner pencil. If its rigid, it stabs my eye and sometimes breaks its tip off, and if its soft, it doesnt work so good and smears if it sticks at all. Something about the tool in general just bugs me too much. My eyes start to water and then its a big mess. Yeah, Im no brilliant makeup technician like Kevin Aucoin, may he rest in peace and the blissful happiness he so rightfully deserves. But, I have done a little research and found a technique that pros use, and it works way better for me. Joe Blasco, the famous theatrical makeup company, makes a great black cream/wax. And the cool bonus is that Joe Blasco insists that his cosmetics NEVER be tested on animals. The thick waxy black Ultamatte creme comes in a nice little pot and its super easy to put on with a good small firm brush. I actually use a tiny model detail paintbrush, but you can get good makeup brushes from Joe Blasco or at Sephora or whatever. Now, I can paint nice delicate black lines over my top lashes, or retro 80s style, on the inside of my lower lids, above the lashes. Its easy to control, smooth, and doesnt get pencil points in your eye. The crme goes on nice and dark, but not all football player thick and heavy (unless you like that look for some reason, maybe black metal, who knows) and it stays for a good long time. Also, in case some twat stole your Manic Panic Raven Lipstick, this stuff can double as a great lip cover as well. Its good stuff. Try it out.
