Yay, job for me

I finaliy got a job, its only as a jounior factory hand but i will earn more in a day than I was getting in a week washing dishes, but I have to wake up at 5 in the mourning now:(

I was supposed to start today but the guy orginising it told me I could start today or next monday, so I said today, got my new boots and overalls and went to work.
When I got there he said he wasent expecting me cos the employment agency never called them back to finalise it so he didnt have the paper work.
I went back to the employmet prople (IPC Employment) ands they called his boss, who talked to him and said I was supposed to start yesterday, but never showed up.
This was news to me, but its all sorted now and I start on monday.
And I started karate today, so yay again.

I used to do freestyle martial arts (for almost a month).
Its pretty much all the good bits from all the others put togther, but it means Im not supposed to enter any tornaments.
Freestyle yellow bel = Tae kwon do black belt.
but cos I never got any belt I will have to talk to my teacher about it.
With the job I get a $3 p/h pay rise when I turn 18 in just over a month, then another in 6 months if I do good on the floor.

Congrats on the job hun! You will get used to waking up that early ( i get up at 4). You will also find your internal alarm clock going off on a Saturday or Sunday as well. That kinda sucks. But good luck:)

great deal, and congrats.. As boss myself, glad to see people finding work. Work hard and will go far, you showing you are willing to go the extra mile. I personally like that in an employee. Again Congrats, I have feeling you will do well in anything you set your mind to do.

Good news man. Now for that 1st payday's beer!!

I got paid today, but only two days worth.
After 3 months I get put on full time then I start at 6 (5 on sataday) but if I get a good reference I can get a better job.
It is goin well tho, the works easy (cleaning and polishing metal) and I havent broken anything yet.
