You can't.
A few providers can block an incoming voice call (though it's rare and often for a fee), but the nature of SMS means reception can't be blocked per-sender, only as a global "no incoming calls" option - which is a little pointless if you intend using your phone!
One option that does work is to seek out the person using the phone, and remove their fingers.
I have Sprint and some how got this old Carpet cleaning business...so about 15-20% of my daily calls are "Hi may I speak to the manager please"...
And then a few messages (nasty too). But I called Sprint..they told me the same thing MG said..but if you talk up to a high enough person they can block single numbers from the annoyance. At least they did for me..? Guess it's just something a non call center person has to do..or can do.
I asked a few people round the office and Sprint seem more conducive to special network fiddlin' than others. It probably helps if you're on a 5000-minute-a-month tariff though!
Voldta - if I were you, I'd start a carpet cleaning business.
The only thing I can suggest is this: take large cast iron skillet and pierced to beat the offender about head and shoulder until person is no longer idable via normal means.
I get text message spam all the fucking time. And as of August 24 my mobile company is going to start charging 15 cents per incoming text! Fucking bullshit.
Damn!! Who is your carrier? The Gestapo.
I have successfully feigned doing so twice. Remove any voice message. I have changed my number once (I found it less a hassle than one might think)
here's what I did..................I spent a few years answering my phone screaming WHAT? now, some time later I only get the 3 or 4 calls a month that are important and the reason I got a cell phone in the first place
Depends on what carrier you are using... but one way to deal with that annoying stalker/mother-in-law/ex/bill collector etc is:Quote:
