An introduction, of sorts (new to this board)
Hi all,
You all can call me Dys, if you prefer, and I'd like to say a few words introducing myself. First off, let me point out that there is absolutely nothing spectacular about me, in a surface-level sense, anyway. You all might get to know me a bit better than that, however...we'll see how it all plays out. Second of all, I live in one of the most culturally-blighted regions on this planet, my hometown of San Jose, California, and have the ironic misfortune of carrying on my shoulders a compelling interest in the bizarre, exotic, and artistically profound. It logically follows that the internet is my drug of choice, and the only means at my disposal with which to keep myself inspired. Third, I write electronic music. Or noise, if you are of the opinion that music, by definition, implies the presence of certain structural elements such as pitch and/or rhythm...which, by the way, I'm not here to debate. Ask nicely, and I might share some of my dabblings and ramblings with you all. Fourth...well...here I am, and hello to all of you! :D

Yo Dys. I come from New Zealand, so I can relate with the whole culture thing.
Electronic music intrigues me, so I'd be interested in hearing what you've got.

Welcome Dys, noise is interesting. I make electronic music but I keep it locked in one bpm most of the times. :) Do You have anything I can listen to?

That's interesting...San Jose bands have fans in other cities? :eek: That's a new one on me...what bands would these be? I'm very curious, all of a sudden.

Hey! My wife is from San Jose. At least she did a lot of her growing up there till she went to the CCAC. We do noise too. Noise with much drums and bizare poetry. It's experimental music and exspokenmental word. I'll check out your page and add you from mine so you can check it out if you want.
