Man finally finds love after 24 marriages
Monday, September 15, 2008
It only took 25 marriages for Mr Katuwa to find love
A man from Nepal says he has finally found happiness with his 25th wife after 24 failed marriages.
Ramchandra Katuwal, 49, a porter from Khandbari in eastern Nepal, recently celebrated his seventh wedding anniversary to latest bride Sharada, 23, and says he is now content and wants to concentrate on his children's education.
Mr Katuwal's first three wives and the 24th all ran away, he said. But he was married so many times over a 16-year-period he can only remember nine of his former wives clearly.

As did I. 10 years is enough! Having too much fun to get married again. 23 is my lucky number though. maybe I need 23 girlfriends.

I'm with you both on that one. I'll prolly never do it again.
Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
a lot of things would have to change before i "walk down the aisle" again. once was enough to discover that i make a terrible wife and i really am not fond of husbands. this guy is just nuts. i think he marries every woman he meets. i really do.

always manged to avoid marriage myself.......................living in sin's alright though
Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
I'm not really a marriage person to begin with, but if hes been through that many, why not keep going, the more he goes through the more he should able to know exactly what he wants/needs in a relationship, trial and error.
Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
I dunno. I've never been married. the closest I ever want to be to married is handfasted. I'm not a "ring and legal document" kind of girl...... although apparently I'm common law married in several states.......
Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
I've casually known a number of people who got married upwards of three times. At a certain point, I think someone needs to come to terms with the fact that, if they believe in divorce, they should not believe in marrying every person they snog.

Then again, some people just like cake.

Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
I have nothing to offer a potential partner, I don't see the point.
Second marriages have a 90+% splitup rate, so I fail to see why I should take those odds, even if I wanted to.
Lastly: wedding cake is an interesting substance - it works as an anaphrodisiac on women.
Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
The more I think about this, seriously guys:
the more I realise that heywow
dude
these women must have been BUSTING DOWN HIS DOOR to be THE GIRL he stuck with. As more and more of his relationships hit the shitter, I bet they couldn't get him in their goatskin yurts fast enough.
Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
Love is dead and so is our economy

Heeey...
If someone is a polygamist....
Couldn't they go through 23 marriages, without a single divorce?
:D
Re: would you give up true love after 23 marriages?
I would have to say that I disagree....a man that "finds love" after a bunch of marriages is a man that needs the attention and companionship, not necessarily the love or the need to be with someone he loves.
I've almost been married once and I'm engaged at this time. I believe that love isnt something that you happen to find one day, it takes work and sometimes things dont work out and sometimes they do. It all depends on the people and whether or not they are willing to work through the problems instead of just abandoning them. Real love isnt just a feeling, its a way of life.
