Just in case anyone thought BB was a tabloid-free zone...
A joint statement will be issued later today confirming Madge and her increasingly-more-famous husband will end their 8-year marriage. Not a bad run for celebs these days, and hardly unexpected, but still a shame.
That's really sad. There is so much pressure on celeb marriages. I think they are both really cool and that's a real shame.
I love Madonna but I couldn't care less about her personal life. Sure it sucks they're getting divorced ( if that's even true) but hell, people get divorced all the time. It means nothing anymore.
I like a good number of Madonna tracks but her divorce is definitely in the "who cares" pile. Was she married to Sean Penn or just bumping booty bits? Didn't he tie her up or lock her in the house on a new years eve and then go out? Hehe. I really must study up on women's magazines a lot more before commenting on anything this crucial again.

Indeed - when they first got together he was universally known as "Mr Madonna" or "Guy Who?". Now most people know him from his movies. Seeing her 'supporting' him at the premieres was teeth-grating - you could so tell she intended to bitchslap him for daring to be popular when they got home.
There's no settlement yet but I'll guarantee there will be. Macca pretty much proved the "I'll see you in court, beeatch" method is the worst idea since Nero's violin teacher told him he needed to practice more..

I dunno, I must say I like some of her music. Only artist that makes it both on my playlist and on current pop radio. Recent stuff is upbeat, optimistic, go-live-up-to-your-personal-potential-and-don't-let-anyone-tell-you-you-can't stuff, and I like that theme.
Plus, she makes a politcal effort for progressive causes, albeit rather mainstream ones. I respect any of that more than the ability to make a lot of money, tbh.
