Okay, if I could get votes in this poll, it would be much appreciated... The question is, who is better, or who do you like better? The Cure or The Doors?
My boyfriend and I have been arguing (not really, more debating) about this since we started going out... 7 and and a half months ago. Please help me end this!
theyre both great but the doors had a much bigger impact and i personaly thing jim morrison is a better songwriter
Never liked the Cure...ever. Just don't see what's so great about them.
I appreciate The Cure but Jim Morrison really knew how to make an exit.

I like both the Cure and the Doors, but lean more towards Roberty Bob. If you're interested, try looking for a band called the Essence. They are a Dutch band that say they sound like the Cure and the Doors. This is their ******* link - The Essence
I don´t know how you can compare those bands; it´s like asking what is better, a book or an umbrella... but I prefer the Cure.

for some reason, anytime I listen to the Doors, I get angry inside.
I was fortunate enough that the last song playing before I came to work today on iTunes was a cure song. I didn't get into them until a few years ago, I don't know what kind of goth girl I was in my younger years! But anyhow, about 3 years ago I started actually listening to them and I am quite enraptured...... imagine if someone wrote some of those love song lyrics for you???
