is it just me or is holiday food kind of gross? egg nog is on the fence, you either love it or hate it. but everyone hates fruitcake. WTF is fig pudding? and everyone says that they like stuffing and cranberry sauce, but no one ever eats it except for one day a year. it must not be that good.

I love holiday food. I eat Cranberries and Cranberry sauce outside of the holidays. The sweet potato, the Aunt's peculiar casseroles, the candy, cookies, Fruitcake, and egg-nog. Genuinely love it.
Oddly enough, otherwise, I utterly despise the holidays, and look for just about any way to avoid celebrating them.
I eat it cause it's there...................but yeah, I'd hate it regularily
yeah Im not a big fan of turkey, and I hate that xmas and thansgiving are so close together and my amily eat turkey both days, not to mention all of the left overs..blech...one year we had prime rib for christmas, thats was good times, and my suggestion
That's why we eat it once a year.

I HATE holiday food too. Yuck, I go to my aunts house for thanksgiving and it just STINKS so gross it makes me want to vomit. I think football sucks. I wish we could watch extreme fighting instead

Fruitcake is gross but I like to scape the icing off the top and eat that. Cranberries are yuck as well. Especially canned cranberry sauce that keeps the can shape and it's all wobbly...yuck.
Everything else is good, turkey,stuffing etc.
Oh, but egg nog makes me wanna puke.

holiday food is gross to me if its cheap, or prepared wrong. I love green bean casserole, but only if its made with fresh green beans. I love sweet potatoes and yams but like them with just a little butter: I hate them candied, not really a fan of turkey, but I like the skin. I lovw stuffing though. I prefer bread stuffings as opposed to rice, and with no fruit, not even raisins. I could live on stuffing and gravy and mashed potatoes...... but I'd weigh a thousand pounds. I like cranberries, but don't really dig cranberry sauce unless its homemade and has persimmon in it...... I absolutely refuse to drink eggnog, and hate christmas sweets, and most sweets in general.
maybe you could just say that I'm really picky.
aw, they make vegan eggnog. it's so wrong. people just need to accept that there are some things that they will never eat again and let it go. it's time to move on.
