Have you ever been sledding?

Just saw a pic of one of my unsavory pals in the snow in Tokyo. I haven't been sledding in ages, living in Hollywood and all. When I was at school in Connecticut, we would make makeshift sleds out of dining hall trays. Have you ever been sledding? Do you like it? Doing it this year?

Of course! :D I can almost say that I'm pro. Good tip is to use bacon to oil your sleds for top speed. Another use of bacon.

Hell yeah! We used to put an old pillow in a garbage bag for your butt.

Did it when I was a kid, when I lived where it snowed. It was FUCKIN' GREAT. Too bad I didn't have a video camera on me with some of the spills I took. I could have been on AFV with some of that crazy shit.

I haven't been sledding since I was six years old. My sister and I decided to go sledding, and apparently there was a creek where we went, and I kinda fell through the ice. It wasn't deep water at all but having your body submerged in ice water up to your knees kind of turns one off to the idea.

Every year usually some kid would drown at the local pond. It was sad, but hey....Gotta skate the pond during winter...It's a frozen pond, right?

They even had those signs that read "During winter, skate at your own risk."

Probably not Harder, but more stupid is all.

Argh, I hate skating too. Also when I was six, I went on a skating field trip thing with my class, and my ass teachers wouldn't help me, and I fell, and someone accidentally skated over my hands. Everything bad happened to me when I was six, no wonder I'm such a bitter individual. Blegh.
Man, the worst thing about a kid drowning in a pond in winter, aside from the fact that they die, is that it's pretty much always around Christmas, either right before or shortly after.

I had an old old sled with the wooden seat and the metal rails... It was lovely. Then they invented those wonderful/horrible saucer sleds that spin you ALL THE WAY DOWN the hill. I still love/hate those things.
