Opening a Blue-Blooded window to the Azaverse!

I'd initially thought to copy/paste one of my past self-introductions from some past blog... and yet, I get to know myself a little more each time I introduce myself to a new group of people, so I elected to start something fresh.

Personal descriptions always come out more like self-advertisements, I find. I'd like to help break the trend by telling the truth, rather than rattle off a quick list of reasons why I think I'm so damn nifty. (I prefer such praise when it comes from others anyway; References of Awesomeness can be made available upon request.) The simple facts are that I'm a 32-year-old Renaissance-Entertainer who can't seem to pick just one path to greatness any more successfully than he can pick just one place to live.

I have professional experience both onstage and backstage, and both on and behind the camera, but have as of yet no real "career" to speak of. I've been a singer/lyricist for two different bands, but you'll never have heard of either of them. I've been working on a complete anthology in various fictional formats centered around the fantasy world I started creating when I was in high school, and even paid to have the material copyrighted by the U.S. government, but my professionally published works consist only of two short stories in two different magazines, both printed just over a decade ago, and neither one having anything to do with my fantasy-opus. I'm even told I could be a model, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a good picture of me anywhere (mostly because whenever I'm conveniently covered in blood, no one seems to have a camera handy).

As for my purpose in creating this profile, I suppose I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. When K introduced me to BlueBlood, all I knew about the place was that they made one hell of a comfortable hoodie, took beautiful pictures of beautiful people, and had a nifty slogan. ("Wisdom - Integrity - Power"... yeah, I can get behind that!) She thereby suggested I create an account, and when the most wonderful person you know makes a suggestion, it warrants serious consideration and eventual compliance. So here I am!

So far, so good... at least, I've had an account now for almost two hours and I don't feel pangs of guilt or regret.
