What's your favorite incensce stick scent?

My favorite by far is "nag champa", and I like to mix it with "opium" inscence sticks..It's just very gothic to me, it reminds me of my jr. high and high school-ness...I know scents remind people of certain events in their lives, which is another reason why I love that smell, reminds me of my youthness, though I'm still young but just when I had NO CARE IN THE WORLD, before I knew about financial stress, which is actually why I thought about this question, cuz it's what I want to be smelling right now, I'm broke at the moment..Anyways, what's your favorite?

When i can't get my fave (there's only one brand that does it right) cherry blossom, it's Ebony Opium, Dragon's Blood or Fire Witch.

there's something very soothing about champa to me. maybe it was the years of meditation in Tai Chi, but it does restore a sense of inner peace.

Opium and Dragonsblood are the best ones for covering up scents like really good sex (only when you have to share living quarters) and other fragrant scents that shouldn't travel.

nag champa, sandalwood, patchouli... there was one called something like "aphrodesia" which was just the yummiest....

I only like incense outside. its too strong for me indoors.

I have no idea, because I bought a great heap of random sticks about a year ago, but they all came wrapped in the same bag. I know I like the brown one more than the green one, but that don't help.

Still, as a man, "nice" is as definitive a smell as is necessary, just as "blue" is a single color.

I like sandalwood and jasmine. I don't use them very often any more. I have oil burners and I put oil in my vaporizors also. Not in with the water but where you are suppose to put vapo rub or something. I know it is kinda ghettoish, but it works. The oils seem to be stronger and less.....dusty. If that make sense.

incense just makes me think of weed smell, because that's is the only reason that people I know ever use it for.

As if anyone would ever be like, gee, this place reeks of incense, I wonder why? It must just be because someone is in a potpourri mood.

lol omg..sooo not true.. i dont smoke weed at all... i do all the other drugs (none that smell) but not weed and I always have inscense on..i just like the scents though

I never thought about using a vaporizer for oils...that's cool I'm gunna try that..

oil burners are great. I used to have ine in l.a.

Try some of the Occult stores. That's where I used to find the best stuff. I don't know if Shadee is still over at Pan Pipes, but I bet those folks could probably hook you up good. Give them a ring and ask anyway, I could be totally off base, but since they have a lot of good scented oils and whatnot, it might be a good option. People I hang with out here are mostly allergic, so I haven't gotten incense in many years. Ok, looks like they do have a selection.

Let me know how you like it. I have sinus issues and it was suggested I use vaporizors. I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. And put the oil burner in the den. I think that with the vaporizor the smell is a lil bit stronger and the oil seems to last longer. Almost everyone who comes into my house loves the way it smells.
Also, I have this weird thing about smells. I always worry about if myself or my car or my house or my pets smell.

Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Carnation, Myhrr, Sweet Lavender..

Also really love Rose scented Yankee Candles.

I know, right? They work beautifully here in the summer time, its so thick and humid that a good Yankee Candle can permeate the whole smell of the room.

Usually I like the sumptuous "Super Hit" which is Nag Champa based... but I just got some Balarama Clove & Lemongrass which is outstanding. Other than those, Peppermint oil and Myrrh oil really saturate an entire house. :)

Yes it is. Thats why I got oils goin and pets all get baths once or twice a week(of course I use washclothes on my cats). I have a little bit of OCD. They just hate the bathroom now. They will not go in wether it's bath time or not.
