Who is fighting off a cold?
I keep almost having a sore throat. My throat glands and just a little bit swollen and painful. Not enough that I feel like I could just lie on a heating pad, drinking fruti juice, eating salty food, and watching videos. But enough that I swear I can get through an eight hour workday and find that I have accomplished almost nothing.
Who else is fighting off a cold? 'Tis the season.
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
I seem to finally be over the cold I picked up this fall - went through all stages at a horribly slow pace, with a few days of being tired and feverish first, then two weeks of a sore throat, then three or so of being generally snotty and sneezy.
I seem to get one of those once every fall and then again once every spring (you'd think it was allergies, but some of the symptoms are wrong). Fortunately I'm rather stoic about minor to moderate medical ailments; it only really bother me when I'm trying to sleep or just waking up, so it doesn't get in the way of accomplishing anything.
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
I've been taking Emergen-C twice a day so as NOT to get sick *lol* so far it's worked pretty well .....
Last year I was near death around this time!
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
I'm trying to close door to my one with echinacea. Unfortunately it is coming back because I'm not at home and in range of healthy stuff lately, specially when I need it.
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
I'm just now getting over the cold I had.
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
You're immune systems are feeble because you lack the ICP in your lymph nodes.
Virus Juggalos are going to come, and hump your sinuses till their brown/yellow/green spooge oozes down the back of your throat.

:( Spoke to soon ..... I have snot dripping from my nose and my head hurts today. Guess that little packet can't cure everything
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
Surprisingly no, I don't have a cold. Usually at home I can pull such an act off by drinking a bottle of NyQuil every night, but I don't really have that option now. It's probably because I have a medic friend that signed my name off on the mandatory flu shots. Flu shots automatically give you a cold, to prevent the flu. No flu shot, no cold.

Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
First Swedish old saying I learned : "Det finns inga dåliga väder, bara dåliga kläder".
Which means: "There's no bad weather, only bad clothes"? (might use leather instead so it would rime)
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
Just started feeling it today. My daughter threw up last night and it was all because of her sinuses draining. ick.
Re: Who is fighting off a cold?
Sinuses suck! I got the same problem since childhood. BUT! Only when I change climate to warm and salty, near sea coast, it gets better.
