Hey,
I really want to go to Latvia by hitchhike. I don't have a lot of experience with hitchhike so all help is welcome. I'm searching for cars that have a place for me, places to stay on my way and useful tips.
I'm a girl from 17 and i'm from belgium. I want to go during the christmasvacation. I speak dutch, english and french. If you have any help for me, please let me know.

My advice is that if you're 17 and female DO NOT hitchhike alone, or indeed solicit places to stay from complete strangers. Find someone you trust to go with you, or find another way to travel. It just isn't worth the risk.

Totally...this really sounds like a BAD idea. Even if you were a guy I'd advise against it...but you being a 17 year old girl...you're gonna really "call out the wolves" so to speak.Quote:

I haven't been to your part of Europe in many years..but when I was in the Netherlands- hitchhiking was illegal and the police (politet?) stopped us..good luck P. in USAQuote:
