What absent-minded or involuntary noises do you make most often? Do you hum, whistle, groan, scream, sigh, moan, gasp, shout, cry, speak without meaning to, etc.?
I'll start. I think I both sigh (in annoyance or disappointment) and moan (in either pleasure or distress), without thinking about it and deciding to make a sound, fairly often.
"FUUUUUUUUCK!!!"
also, "Goddammit!", "Asshole!", and "Goddamnfuckingcocksuckinggodfuctasshole!"
occasionally "Naaaarf", or "Poit!"
i work in retail, i hate people who sigh to get your attention, as though life is so fucking hard for them, try standing on the other side of the counter
my tummy grumbles a lot
I groan when I stand up from fucked up knees and sore legs. Other than that, I burp alot without even noticing.
I snort and huff too much. Like, I amuse myself so deeply I giggle-snort, or I humph when someone says something that seems stupid.
I swear and curse alot. My bf is an ex sailor and swears constantly, especially the word cunt and I guess I picked it up from him!
i've worked with someone who had tourettes. half my team spent most of the time fixing wires under the desk that didnt need fixing.
its kind of sad.
i stammer when a camera is pointed my way or having to speak publicly. and if i dont stammer, the "Err" and "umm" come out in force.
I'me had aversion therapy aas regards my language in late in the form of my sister smacking me upside the head incase the nephew picks up the words (everything he's learned has been from his great uncle anyway).
i do growl in annoyance. and depending on how annoyed i tend to growl at the back of my mouth not from the throat which has shocked me sometimes how feral it sounds

and Kung-fu yells while playing Warhammer... :). All kinda come out while I'm on the PC for too long. The shit I say to my cat though when no ones around... baby voices "My little snookums sugar cat d'awwww give daddy tisses!"

A few people have pointed out to me that I make weird little noises under my breath. I talk to myself a lot too, and sometimes have to remind myself that thinking's the quiet one.
I can't recall any.
Oh yes. My mom says that I make this "enjoyment" sounds when I eat, but only when I'm extra hungry.
"Mhmm" kind of sounds :D
I mew. That is, I suck in air through my front teeth in a way that sounds enough like a small cat mewing that people not used to having me around get confused and look for one in my direction.
I like cats. Sometimes I am a cat. So I practised - it can be difficult to get right - while doing other stuff over the years. Now I do it without thinking in annoying-ish situations, like when someone says something dumb or I'm sitting down with something I'm working on and hands full of tools and materials spread out over my lap and I can't reach my scissors from where I'm sitting.
i make that "ahhh" noise after I take a drink. My mom does it and it always annoyed me, but now I do it ):
and at night when im falling asleep my throat makes a clicking noise when I breathe
I often make groan and grunting noise without knowing it because I cannot hear myself.
It is embarrassing.
Sometimes I make little cat like noises out of nowhere. I don't know why I do this.

My stomach and my throat gurgle alot. And always when it's really quiet for some reason. sometimes I'll open my mouth to talk and let out a big burp instead. That's always good for a larf.
I also do this. I also make litle grumpy grunting meow noises in my sleep apparently when something disturbs my sleep or the boy hogs the covers.Quote:
