Have you ever fasted deliberately? If so, how did it make you feel and did you do it for religious reasons, diet reasons, a dare, etc.?
Yes.
The reason was "cleansing". Multiple weeks at a time, many multiple weeks at a time. With short breaks, and then back to "fasting".
At the time I thought I was healing myself of... what? Who knows. I also practiced "caloric restriction."
I have since learned that starvation may induce a release of endorphins that make you feel good enough to go seek food... this is not "healing" however.
I don't recommend it. It's all a bunch of pseudo-scientific bullshit.
yes. at the behest of my ex I went 3 days drinking juice on more than one occasion so that I could lose what is essentially mostly water weight. It really sucked having to go to the gym and then come home and have juice. *wrinkles her nose*
not nearly the same as trying to get to one more save point before I get up to get food. that can sometimes take all night.

after red meat for a day.
sweetned tea only
Only pre-surgery. I have no other religious or idealogical reasons strong enough to make me want to be hungry.
No way. I love food too much and I get uber cranky when I'm hungry.
I did the Atkins Diet for 2 weeks once. Close enough...and it sucked. After 2 weeks I became very sick and went off of it immediately. Ajax needs his carbs. No if, and, or buts about it.
I have starved before for a number of days, but it sure wasn't because I wanted too.
all I can say is that whomever thinks this will accomplish anything but make you feel sick, clearly doesn't know very much about human biology.
I mean it will get the evil spirits that possessed your TV dinner to leave you alone, but they always come back eventually.
