Two Friday The 13th's In 2 Months, Do You Fear It?

For the second month in a row, the 13th has landed on a Friday. But some people see this superstitious day as lucky.

A triple threat like this only comes around once every eleven years. Today we celebrate or commiserate about 2009's second of 'three' Friday the 13th's. Did you notice?

"I told the office, and they said 'why did you say that?" says Pat, one Sacramento resident.

A study out of England found that the chance of hospital admission because of a car accident increases by more than 50 percent on this date. Its conclusion is that Friday the 13th is, in fact, unlucky for some reason.

But is it bad for your health? Do you have a fear of Friday the 13th? What about the fear of the 'number' 13?

Our nation had 13 original colonies, but don't remind our 31st President, Herbert Hoover. He reportedly had Triskaidekaphobia. And maybe it was something in the water at the White House, because his successor, F.D.R, refused to travel on the 13th of any month. Our 13th President, Millard Fillmore didn't have Triskaidekaphobia, but he did admit our 31st state into the union, California.

The superstition is all around our society or 'not' around. Like the U.S. Bank building, many structures don't have a 13th floor. CBS13 doesn't have one either, but frankly, some of us never had a chance.

I was royally FUCKED on the Feb one, but this one was actually pretty good.

i could understand the thing about car accidents increasing today cus there were some completely useless fucks on the road today.

actually saw one guy go into a merge lane for the other side of the road and almost got nailed head on.

but it think it's more because people are too nervous being out on the road today cus of the day than it is unlucky.

they're just letting their superstitious fears of the day freak em out too much to be driving coherently.

The full moon doesn't help.

depends on how you take the godess to mean lol.

full moons are the time period between the positive waxing phases and negative waning phases.

but some people think the full moon is in actuality the begin of the waning phase just as the new moon in teh begin of waxing phase while others simple feel it is a neutral energy phase.
