I have a job. *whew* For a while there I was starting to wonder if I just wasn't as good at this gig as I thought I was. Competition's stiff when there are almost 90 bars in the city. Luckily I found a booker that doesn't require that I sleep with him to get shifts at clubs.

*big deep sigh of relief* Now to go bang up my knees on stage.

*contented sigh* I fucking love my job. When the whole bar stops to watch my stage show. When I stand around and bullshit for free drinks. When I spend five hours screwing off and still bank home a shiny $100. I know it's conceited but, when I'm the "Hot Chick" on day shift. The whole thing combines into the job I love. :D

Now if I could finish a novel and sell my books before I loose my looks we'd be in business.
