i'm officially too old to go to the mall.
it was weird, i went there this morning to grab a flyer of all the job opps there and went and took a walk around and was like-man, this place is so boring now and all the jobs on this list are to places that don't even cater to anywhere near my age group.
it was surreal.
and then i cauhgt myself blaring an old u-2 song on the radio driving home and singing along and going, fuck, i am getting old.
It's not really that you're too old. It's because malls in general have gotten boring. All the stores and such are just the same thing over and over. Gone are the mall movie houses, game arcades, and interesting stores. In there place are just boring clothes shops and crappy knick-knack places.
plus all the cool stores ahve gotten lame too like spencers. sigh.....I think im gonna start shopping around for a metallic pink walker and some silver fanged dentures soon lol
I hate going to the mall because I end up asking the question as to why 10yr old girls look like their 16 while creepy old men stare at their miniskirts...:doh:
I've caught myself asking the same question,tl, back when i worked at the mall.
they even have a victoria secret aimed at the "college" crowd now called pink. mind you, the stuff is cute but definately not aimed at college girls yaknow?
the one over her eis located right next to a cinnabon which is like across from allt eh kid shops like fuziwigs, kb toys and alladat shit.
Um, malls are about to take it up the ass.
Many of em are chains, and the parent company has been cooking the books and can't even pay the interest anymore.

the westcor ones are definately gonna end up goin bye bye. i remember when they hiked up the rent on suncoast and fye out here so they could have the spot that fye was in to make a ginormous wrap around victoria secret which was just dumb because alot of people went into fye because they were the only ones allowed to seel cds in the mall when they were around.
Yeah Malls are pretty much just clothing stores, a gamestop, a hottopic and a food court. I walked into the local hot topic here recently and felt like a pedophillic old man and I'm in my twenties. About 20 tweens staring at bikinis and lingerai.
Oh dont forget the chinese massage guy.
Things become less shiny as you age.
Maybe when you were a kid the thought of going to mall was grand, but now to me at least i really only go to the mall for cloths shopping or getting gifts for people.
Its pretty effin lame.
yeah i dont get why they even sell lingerie in that store. if it's anything like most of the items in there that are over ten bucks it'll probably fall apart within a month.Quote:

an' most of My "BILL" payment places are there too,..
the GAS COMPANY,..
the D.W.P {*Electric),..
the TIME-WARNER (*Phone/Internet),...
.......etc'........
EVERYTIME I go out these days,..the AGE Thing is so OVERTLY apperant, from What My Look n' Style is, from the YOUNGSTERs' "In-Stuff" of Today,..

I dont really go to the mall (we call them shopping centers xD) I mean whats the point? I live bout 15min away from a fairly big one, but I only go when I actually need crap. The only people who really hang around there are wanna be gangstas and I dont want to split my fists on their heads again.

Its pretty much been the same ol' stuff, with time like a lot of things for soem people its something you grow out of. I'm close to the Mall of America, and despite having a ton of differant stores, its still just a bunch of shops that are the same in variations. I do my shopping on-line.

The mall started to suck after Hot Topic and Spencers started fighting for the preteen moron crowd and everything else is aimed at the really old mall walkers be they scented candle stores or that "Things Remembered" crap shop for momentos. There's nothing aimed at the over 21 demographic anywhere in the mall. It's now just kinda lame. I'd rather go down town or down one of those streets that's just shop after shop for like 2 miles.

I don't wear a lot of "COLORIZED PRINT STYLE T-SHIRTs" stuff,.....

or a basic Black T-shirt - for warmer day, wear ].
I RARELY hardly Ever Buy anything at "Hot Topic" Ether,...
Interesting store,..but I'm too old for that suff,...

is a simple basic pair or two of black sunglasses,..
or an interesting Stickpin (maybe)..............
