I think it's possible for a group born in the same month to possibly have certain same characteristics, but truthfully I think it's all bogus. I've met people that were born ON my birthdate and every single one that I've met, were nothing like me.
As for horoscopes....They may be fun to read, but it's friggin' ridiculous if you think there is some truth to them. You're telling me that millions of people, all born under the same sign, are all going to have the same sort of day?

as for number: that's done by taking all the letters in your name and adding then adding until you reach a base number then adding al thenumbers of your birthdate month day and year, adding those together and then adding those together with your number from your name.
I look at this as more of a old school method of psychological profiling more than anything else I know some even go as far as to determine blood type to fit a personality (mine is o pos.)
as for divinaiton, it's fun to read horoscopes and some really do hit interesting turnouts. i've been reading one that has been pretty eery latelynot to say accurate or that its sooth saying but rather that I see things it says to look out for happening as the dya unfolds. it all depends on the person viewing it and determining if its bunk or not.

I put about as much faith into Astrology as I put into anything else over which I haven't complete control... though I have shuddered in the past at how classically Aquarian I can be. I am fairly proud to have been born in a Year of the Dragon... though purely for reasons geeky in nature.

Not really, but sometimes I read the horoscopes. I'm a Libra. According to WikiAnswers, the Chinese zodiac sign is Fire Tiger. I dunno, whatever.
I see it as a useful and reliable way for the editor of a small-town newspaper to fill the slot between the obits and the advert for John Deere, without having to do any real journalism.
