How do you navigate from point A to point B?

How do you navigate from point A to point B?

Do you have a good sense of direction? If you have been some place once, can you just find your way there again? Do you read maps well? Do you ask for directions often? Are you addicted to MapQuest, Google Maps, or GPS in your car or phone? Or do you just get lost a lot?

I drive around until I find it. It works pretty well for me. If I'm going on a long trip, then yeah, I'll check out a map/webmap.

I call my friend Jon Mmmayhem. He has the best sense of direction of any human I've ever met, bar none. No matter what city I'm in, he can get me unlost and safely on my way. So far, he's exercised these magical powers in NYC, Philly, Toronto, and DC. I'm very in awe of these skills, because I inherited my dad's complete lack of direction.

for me it usualy works out best when I look up the street first before I drive away from the shop...............I've got lots of mapbooks, I tried a gps once and wasn't paying attention and getting homw took an extra hour or so because it thought it would be best if I took the highway south for an extra while.................and there I was thinking it would just reverse the directions it gave me in the morning.

I have terrible sense of direction for roads and that....................put me in the middle of a wilderness and I can find my way out

Are you asking if I could say, find a bank vault while navigating the the sewers of Paris? :thumb:

Nah, my sense of direction is minimal. Fortunately I enjoy exploring so it works out ok. I can work with maps pretty well, but without them... well at least i get to meet new people.

And I always take my dad's advice. If you are lost, ask a pretty girl for directions. then at least you are lost and talking to a pretty girl. :wink2:

I have a pretty good sense of direction but sometimes getting lost can be fun.

If I'm going somewhere it Philly I can usually just find it since it's such an easy city to navigate. If I'm going elsewhere I'll usually google map it.

I simply open a black hole at point A and instantly travel to point B.

I do directions, mapquest, occasionally a GPS.. Whatever. I can figure it out. I'm learning that getting lost isn't a big deal because common sense will get you heading in the direction you want... Eventually.
