Why does Cthulhu looks like the Punisher skull?

Because the punisher skull is far too awesome for its representee?

I've plagiarized the shit out of it in the past. I don't see why C'thulu shouldn't.

if by awesome you mean nu metal...

It's an exceptionally well drawn skull. I don't see what it has to do with any genre of music; if they co-opted it from the comic they're second hand users, just as I am.
