What are the best days of your life?

Other people often like to impose their idea of when it is great to be you. You might be miserable in high school and hear adults tell you these are the best days of your life. (I had some great times in high school and some nightmare ones, but I'm glad I never believed that.) Other people will say that the best day of your life should be when you get engaged or married or have your first child or your first male child etc.

What do you think of other people's ideas of what are the best days of your life? What actually are the best times of your life so far?

Tuesdays.

Any day I wake up breathing.

Obviously there are days when you are a kid, with no worries, just running around playing.
Those are the best I think.
Summer break from school, just running around with your friends...

Obviously there were days of bad things.
Bad stuff with parents, fights with other kids, getting hurt, etc.
But in general, there were a lot of fun days, where you really did not have to worry about much.
No job, no bills, etc... just riding your bike, or running in some field, exploring, pretending to be pirates, etc...

I certainly did *not* enjoy high school. AT ALL.

College was fun, but there was some responsibility creeping in there.
Studying, getting up for classes, worrying about grades, assignments, etc.
But the fun recreational times, partying with friends, etc, were really fun....
And if you compare college with work life, it was much easier.

The sad thing about being a working adult, is the fact that even if you
don't hate your job, you still have only two days to relax and have fun every week.
And that's never going to compare with having 3 months off for summer break in elementary school.

For me, that was the best.

I think I had a few really good days somewhere between '92 and '97. Honestly though, I would say these are the best days of my life right now, b/c I'm genuinely HAPPY:)

Summer breaks from school were THE BEST! Like William Wallace would say, "FREEEDDDOOOMMM!!!!"

I don't like to look at my life in a quantifiable way. The big picture is fuckin glum.

I spent 30% of my time sleeping. 72 hours taking a shit.

Time on the internet? Not a bad one, but a fond memory? I don't even want to think of the long division on that.

Enjoy the good moments when they happen and you will be happy. They can't compare in comparison.
