Orbital Death Ray or Robot Minions?

I'm asking for, uhm, a friend: Which would you prefer, if you had to choose one, orbital death ray or robot minions? And why?

choose one to do what with?..........orbital death ray could be fun for the first hour and then it would just be work pushing that button billions of times.

Robot minions though......the posibilities are only limited by your imagination

I'm going with the robots, too. A death ray seems somewhat binary in its outcome.
