Dying Onstage

OK, we are doing a big Halloween show in London, and on the last song "Suicide Child", I die. Usually, Kris has vampire fangs and bites me and the other vampire girls attack me, but this show we are using a different girl, and I am not sure if she has fangs or wants to do the vampire thing.

So my question is, should I die onstage? How should I die? Should I slit my wrists? I could use blood capsules. Would blood coming out of my mouth and just collapsing be enough? Is this all just too hokey? It is Halloweeen, I mean I should do something. Or should I just not die?

Any suggestions?

I think the blood coming out of your mouth and then collapsing would be perfect. Not overly campy.........just creepy

Wow, maybe a combination of those two ideas!

On stage it has to be big so that the people can see it; perhaps more blood shooting out of the neck than just out of the mouth? I quite like the bite idea myself.

Oh I wish we could do that. Once we had the cross and we painted the girl in black latex onstage, etc. But one of the vampire girls had a hissy fit and left the cross at the club.... Besides, it might be hard to take a large cross on a plane...

if i can fit a human sized cross (dissasembled) into an old VW bug im sure you could get i on a plane crosses are actually quite easy to make just some 2x4s a dril a table saw and some bolts

If ur going to go big then do it right. Esp. sence it halloween. Puke blood all over the front row and fall to the ground fake a sesure. Scare the shit out of them...

That's brilliant!!Sort of the Linda Blaire Excorcist thing. And that's a good idea about putting the cross together when I get there. Maybe I can get someone to nail me to the cross while we are assembling it....

2 puke blood you gatat chug red koolaid til you feel sick. then it cooomes out easy. hope ur not singing. if you are you can hold it in but it might effect ur tone slightly. I know it would with me.

or you can do what GG Allin said he was gonna do and actually kill yourself on stage. but I guess dying of a heroin overdose is more punk rock.
