Karate

do you study and kind of Marshal arts??
I have 2 years of Kempo (blue belt), and 8 years of shonru (1st dagree student black)

i have a second degree black belt in karate and im starting to take jiu-jitsu

i used to take Kendo because i wanted to be a samurai:D

I perfer Tirditional Eastern Kung-fu over kempo but on of my friends has taken it sence he was 4 and he can still kick my ass. he is 17 now and is taking ge-kung-do donno if that how you spell it. bruce lees martal art.

12 years Shito-Ryu style Karate. Currently taking some Combat Knockdown classes (street fighting basically)

nope. my brother is a black belt karate instructor though, he's got all these gigantic trophies from international competitions and stuff.

yeah, I studied various martial arts for years, but that was when I was an asshole. Now I have the intellectual ability to solve my problems without having to use violence to prove that I am right.

I took classes for several years when I was around twelve. My mom thought getting my ass kicked would be good for my character.

I have a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon do. ....but hopefully will start kickboxing or karate in the Autumn :)

I haven't yet, but I want to learn just for the hell of it.

i was about 6 months away from my black belt in tae-kwon-do then i moved and that was it... that was 9 years ago now.

It just occurred to me that most of the people posting here could conceivably kick my ass.

hahaha. I played a lot of arcade fighting games when I was young. street fighter, fatal fury. that really doesn't have to do with anything, but those games are pretty kick ass, so just thought i'd drop some props.

I started karate, shoto kan (spelling?) like kid when I was living in Prague, owner was one of the 3 living masters with such high grade, small japanese "jump around" guy.... It was nice for 6 years, then I finished with it after I got black belt... acctualy I found beer and weed more actractive:D
now, like 2 months ago I started training capoiera, because I like dance and I like fight... why not join it together:D

I did 4 yrs. Kempo and 4 yrs. kick-boxing. My step-brother is a fifth degree black belt in Shonru. He can't be graded in North America, so he flies to Japan.
