Let's play a game....

Ok everyone, I don't know if this is something that anyone will enjoy, but here we go...

I like to play what some writers describe as "What If?" It's a game to get those creative juices flowing

Ask a question with the words "What if" as the first two words...

Then simply try to imagine a world where that "what if" actually was. I guess it's how all good stories/movies/shows are made. (Like someone thought up the question "What if apes were smarter than humans?" and came up with the Planet of the Apes)

So I propose that we all provide eachother with a little entertainment by coming up with "what if" statements.
Here are a few of mine to get the ball rolling:

What if water was a commodity more precious than gold or oil?

What if having sex outside of marriage were considered a bigger crime than first degree murder?

What if canniballism was a normal part of everyday life? (imagine the signs at a butcher shop..."toe bones, great for stews, 10 for $2.00"...would we use those who died of natural causes? would there be people farms?)

Yeah, that last one is kinda sick, but you get the idea...so let's see what you've got! :D

what if hitler won world war two?

what if martin luther king was never killed?

The US has gotten ULTRA conservative lately.

I'm from Canada though, we don't quite follow the whole USA taboo thing
at least most of us don't! :)

What if the earth would spin into the opposite direction?
What if vegetables would eat people?
What if the sun would implode? (Would we go underground?)
What if AOL bought Microsoft?
What if rain was really acid?

well i got no sources to back this up but i had a professor who had a doctorite of chemistry and a few other degrees etc tell me that the human body would normally live to be 215-250 years old if our body wasn't polluted from any and all toxins from the world. he explained that it had something to do with the number of times a cell can divide itself before finally dieing off.

What if we never were?
What it "What if" never existed?
What if Life really is but a dream?
What if the Matrix really was? (+ would we know if it was?)
What if the very destiny the world is trying to avoid was the one it was leading itself into?
What if the Apocalypse never started?
What if you are not you, but someone else is?
What if space is merely part of our imagination? (For all we know, it could be some big conspiracy cover up for those who really know what's going on up there)
What if humans were just animals (no conscience)?

what if you were allergic to water?
what if school and medical were free?
what if we could not vote - ever?

what if penguins were 15 feet tall and scary looking?

what if the moon turned out to be an ancient alien spaceship,
designed to observe the evolution of the cows but not of the humans?

What if commercials would tell the truth?

What if having sex would make you know what your partner thinks?
