What is your favorite Weapon for Melee?

Not exactly sure, but for some reason, the Hammer types have always been My favorite.

I love those Mauls,Warhammers, and the other types of double handed Melee hammers.

a bastard sword or a katana

i absolutely love a good ol'fashioned samurai sword

but of course there are alot of fantasy pieces that look amazing that would never be practical in real life

a cutlass or a rapier altho id rather blast someone in the face then go to close combat:D

In my opinion every weapon is melee...
When I run outa bullets I can beat the rest of the life out of the person with the butt or barrel of the gun be it a rifle or pistol...

Basically anything that is blunt or sharp with a little weight to it is a melee weapin in my opinion

Baseball bat is the best weapon hands down. What else gives you the distinct satisfaction of hearing bones crack when you smash them? As for sharp weapons, I'd love to get my hands on a double-edged broadsword.

Short sword /long sword combo and long bow in games.

Katana, long bow, and syringes full of "pink juice" in real life. ;)

Kukhri and maybe a Bowie knife, oh and probably a katana. for me axes are for throwing......boy scouts taught me that. that and hot cocoa mixes is flammable.

On a similar note, I have seen somebody use a giant frozen fish as a hammer or club of some sort.

That was funny. You can actually pound in nails with frozen fish. lol

In games I prefer an Elvish War Hammer...
I guess to pick one in real life would be A sock with a pool ball in it...Or a sock with about $30 worth of quarters in it...Has worked in the past...

Yeah, whatever you see in a Charles Bronson movie is pretty much guaranteed to work. Me, I'd settle for a really bick stick. Or a baseball bat if I can get picky.

... but I can to with punching and biting the hell out of people. Not that I'm really violent or anything.
