I've really cut down on my caffeine-consumption, but I'm thinking about it. How do you take your caffeine? Office coffee, specific coffeehouse's latte, diner coffee, blended with ice and bananas, Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, Jolt, ground up No-Doz and a five dollar bill . . .

I hate caffine because of the negative effects it has on a person eventually.
I dont know if it is true or not, but Doctors a long time ago said that I would be at least a foot or two taller if I hadnt drank so many sodas when I was younger.
And being forced to carry so much stuff in my backback that it gave me a lot of back damage was no help either
I can't drink caffine. My mother and I can't process caffine, we get really bad kidney infections with even half a can of soda. I used to drink Vanilla Coke and Dr. Pepper here and there, but I can't anymore.
In women especially its really bad. It depletes the calcium in the body causing growth problems and hunchbacks.

Hmm, i think this "you'd be a foot taller if you hadn't drank so many sodas" is total nonsense... I drank so many of them when I was a Kid, does this mean i'd be at least 7'7" if I hadn't? :p
As for my caffeine of choice: Pepsi or Afri Cola (a german brand, not as sweet as CC or Pepsi, but very tasty)

and I MUST have coffee every morning and multiple times a day.. It's a sickness -- we are way past the addiciton point here.

My entire family is short. On the other hand, unlike my father (who was born with such an extreme calcium deficiency that he had to have his teeth replaced when he was fourteen) I have really strong and dense bones. I've never actually broken anything although I've had more than my fair share of sprains -- but I'm also accident-prone.
Of course, another amusing note would be that the Japanese have gotten taller (though far from a foot taller in average height) since the incorporation of milk and other Western delicacies into their diet. Also, according to my cousin Phaedra in Brisabane, the average Australian woman is about 5'8"-ish and the average Australian man around 6'0". Many people attribute this to better beef (which is high in iron and also allegedly encourages strong bones) in Australian than that which is in the US.
