Your favorite cleansing routine....

hmm, almost sounds like a dirty thread title eh? lol

Anyway, I just had a GREAT shower, like the best! I prefer baths, but my apartment doesn't have a tub, *sigh*. Anyway, I lit candles, turned on my "song of the wolves" nature CD and cranked the hot water. I used two kinds of soap (the honey one from Lush, and a vanilla/brown sugar body wash), and used my scrub brush to lather up. Got out, dried off, smothered myself in Vanilla Talc powder and put on my fluffiest bath robe. Now I'm having a glass of wine..pure pleasure.

So am I weird, or does anyone else have a favorite way to have a bath or shower...rituals? I've always wanted a hot bath with real rose petals in the water, but roses are pretty pricey, oh and I don't have a tub! :(

I do a walk around my school. Put my headphones on and just take a stroll. I also have to go to at least 2 shows a semester. That way I can unwind. Like this weekend I'm going to see Skinny Puppy in Kansas City, should be a cool show, I'm actually psyched to go. And then on November 12 is KMFDM, and the 21st is Ministry/TKK. I have tickets for each one and that's another way I unwind. Also a brainless video game like a racing game or something calms me down a bit.

shit hoestly i can't remember the last time i took a shower,i used to take like at least 2 a day but over the last years or so ive stop showering very frequently at all ,but when i do it's usally a great thing 4:30a.m,no lights, (missing the feincee),tool playing in the room great stuff

I've got four bathrooms in my house. The one with the tub can't be used because the floor isn't safe. The second has just a shower, but without showerhead and the shower doors need replacing. The third one we use. The fourth needs ripping out completely and replacing.

I don't have any hygiene cleansing rituals at all; soap all over, rub and scrub, out and dry. For me it's merely part of life and nothing special. Perhaps because the showers are only big enough for one ...

im a bath freak. i love bubble baths every night, sometimes more. theyre soo relaxing. i wish we had a hotter water heater for longer baths tho.i occasionally bring snacks or drinks in with me. drunken bathing rocks! then there's the whole "bathing with clothes on" thing that i do. sometimes ill get dressed up just to bathe. in things like tights or stockings with a garter belt. i used to love wearing latex in the bath but havent done that in a long time. it just feels so good. :rryumy: bath toys are fun to, like a devil ducky or blinky the 3-eyed fish. but as to cleansing, i often feel refreshed after i dye my hair. but the tub regrets it!

A shower, and a nice, close shave make me feel "cleaner". I'm not a neat freak or anything, but if I go too long between showers, like on some camping trips, I begin to feel a little "unclean". I shower before work every day, and after work most nights.

My girlfriend bought a jacuzzi last may so I just sit around with the jets on and beer and weed and a crossword sometimes and some days we put the jets on wave and sometimes just the staight hardcore blast

anyway, whatever you got to do to get a jacuzzi do it, it's worth it

I have to go for the bath idea also. My place has a porn tub *5 person can easily fit in it* with jets. Put in a load of bubbles,some candeles and insence, and just stew for hours.

I'd have a long, sexy bath whenever posible if I had a tub. But, alas, showers are boring and unsexy. When I really need to relax and take a shower, I take a garden chair into the shower and sit for as long as I can stand the pipping hot water... or until it runs out. I've found I really like to sleep in the shower.

long hot shower sit down so the water is half on my head (But i can keep my eyes open) half on my back to keep my warm.... and i just sit there and relax continually cranking the hot water until it is almost all gone... then i clean and rinse like usual... follow with a good all body moisturizing lotion and then wrap the towel around me and sit on the internet or tv or book or just laying on my rug staring up at my loft bed until dry.

i dont know when the last time i took a bath was... but i love showers! i love hot showers on rainy days, and cold showers when im sad. the best way to get out all of your tears is by taking a nice cold shower!
