Ok, so I have recently been taking a Scuba Diving class, and because of this I am in the pool and the Lake a lot to dive. Dont get me wrong, I love the water, but my beautiful hair is now a horrible shade of fuscia. Anyone have any advice of keeping your color before going in the water?
Don't know anything personally...but I'm sure swimmers would have some tips since they deal with the same issue.

Why not wear a swimming cap? You know, that funky condom-looking thing swimmers wear in the water when they're not having sex in the pool.
no way around it only solution is qwit class and go swim in clean ocean.
Heh, ive tried the swimming caps, but I guess my head is too small, but theres always some water that somehoe seeps in.
I went to Lake Mead on Saturday, and the water didnt affect my hair as bad, so maybe thats a good thing. No more pools!
There's a conditioner you can buy for your hair. You have to look for it but it's available. It treats colored and chlorine damaged hair, ask a hairdresser though because I forgot the name of it.
I used to use a lot of bleach. Still sometimes do. Chlorine looks fuckin terrible on bleached hair. There is a conditioner they sell only at Boots that is good, but you can always find Redken here and their Sun Care line works well for me now.
How do you like scuba diving?

I hate to tell you this, but there is NO way to get rid of that color. I had to cut off ALL my hair, because it turned permanently green from chlorine, and I wore a cap the whole time!!!
I tried every color remover and asked color experts, and it just ended up frying my hair, so finally I just had to cut the green part off which was most of it!!
Stay out of chlorine pools. Lounge by the pool, have a cocktail, wear high heeled stiletto mules, but don't go in that chlorine water!!!
